Purpose of the role:

• Running a seamless supply chain operation overseeing Customer service, Purchasing, Warehouse and Logistics

• Develop strategy to drive improvement across all areas of the supply chain function

Day to Day responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the timely, efficient and accurate transfer of goods from manufacturing points and suppliers through to customers,

• Regularly review or update supply chain practices and processes to support business strategy

• Collaborate with various departments to ensure availability of materials and inventory levels are optimised

• Define suitable metrics for measurement and evaluation of the supply chain function to reduce cost and waste whilst maintaining SLAs / KPIs

• To have an excellent understanding of shipping (import/export) documentation, tariffs and legal requirements.

• To have a thorough working knowledge of the ERP, warehouse management and BI systems.

• Lead and motivate the Procurement, Warehouse and Customer service team to build effective relationships enhance performance and enable swift rectification of any issues.
