Purpose of the role:
- Supporting all aspects of financial planning including the annual budget, quarterly financial re-forecasts
- Assisting wider head office with analysis and providing valuable insight into KPI’s to help drive business decisions and performance
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the monthly group financial re-forecast to understand revenue drivers and cost performances.
- Support with the annual budget setting process, generating revenue and cost budgets.
- Target setting for UK stores; working with divisional and regional managers to set store level targets. Understand trends and aligning targets with overall company targets.
- Assist with monthly executive level reporting on trading and financials.
- Building and maintaining financial models to assist with target setting as well as the forecasting and budgeting process.
- Support with Management Information, compiling detailed reports
Qualifications
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyse various forms and large volumes of data
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
- Positive and proactive approach, constantly looking to improve processes and results
- Eagerness to learn and drive career progression through hands on experience and CIMA training
